Michael Lewis is officially one of my favourite non-fiction authors. (and seriously giving Malcolm Gladwell a run for his money) You might recognize him from his work on Liar's Poker and The Blind Side, and in my opinion, Lewis' best of his four books is "The Big Short," which I think is a must read... the most fascinating part of the book chronicles the handful of investors that saw the housing collapse coming... It's obviously no surprise that Mike Burry, a value investor was one of the first to start conducting close analysis of sub prime mortgages being issued. Vanity Fair did a very good piece on Burry, who is a very interesting character. Burry was also recently featured on a 60 minute segment about the book. More on Michael Burry.
